Portal - Logging into Portal as a Principle Investor

The members portal can be accessed by the following parties, and this article will be illustrating the required steps on how to log into the portal as a principle investor and/or on behalf of an investor. 

Principle investors have the authority to login to the portal and act on behalf on an investor. This could be an individual(s) outside of the finance company such as an accountants or staff members within that finance company. 

A principle investor can be:

An existing customer -  a person who has already been AML verified and has registered through the portal.

A new customer -  a person who has yet to but needs to be AML verified and sign on verified to access the portal as a principle investor.

1. Adding a New Customer as a Principle Investor

A new customer can be created by finance company staff members from within Fusion, as outliend in this article or a customer can register themselves through the members portal as mentioned in this article.

 

The customer can be added as a principle investor against the investor customer and steps on how to do this is identified in this article (refer to the steps outlined from steps 1 - 4 as well as step 6). 

Once the customer is created and added as a principle investor, that customer will need to be AML verified (if they have not been AML verified when registering through the portal). Follow the steps in this article to AML verify a customer in Fusion through a service provider, otherwise follow the steps in this article to AML verify a customer manually. 

The final step is ensuring that the customer actually signs in in order for them to verify their account through the portal, and the required steps on how to do that is referenced in this article.

Following this, the customer will be able to login to the portal as a principle investor using either their username and password for the portal or their mobile phone number. Steps on how to login to the portal using a mobile number is specified in this article.

2. Adding an Existing Customer as a Principle Investor 

The instructions on how to add an existing customer as a principle investor is outlined in this article.

The final step is to ensure that the customer is AML Verified  and  Sign On Verified in order for them to log into the portal as a principle investor. 

The customer will need to be AML verified when registering through the portal. Follow the steps in this article to AML verify a customer in Fusion through a service provider or follow the steps in this article to AML verify a customer manually. 

If the customer is not sign on verified, they will need to sign on verify their account through the portal and the steps on how to that is mentioned in this article.

Following this, the customer will be able to login to the portal as a principle investor by either entering their username and password for the portal or their mobile phone number. Steps on how to login to the portal using the mobile phone number is mentioned in this article.
