Portal - Activity Feed

Portal - Activity Feed

When you receive a notification via Email or SMS about the status of your loan application or the next required step e.g. uploading specific documents to proceed further, a similar message is recorded on the portal.

This is captured using a message board style Activity Feed that can be accessed from the portal at any time using the View Messages option on the top of the left-hand side menu:

1. When this menu option is selected, it will display all messages in order of the date and time it was received. If the message is in relation to a loan application, it will display the application number in blue next to the date and time, for reference purposes (as you could have more than one loan application in place or if you are an investor you could be in the process of funding several applications) but you can also click on the application number to see the status of it:

2. When reviewing the number of messages that are displayed on the screen, there is a filter above the list of messages:

3. What it allows you to do, is select the number of days that you would like to filter the messages by (particularly useful if there are too many messages to search through):

4. Then for further filtering options, you can select the type of message that it would be associated with (if related to bids, investments, applications, etc):

5. Once you have filtered the messages, you can read and review the desired message. If you select a message (simply by enabling the check box on the left hand side) it will insert a white tick in the highlighted check box:

6. Once a message has been selected, you have the option to either Archive the message or Delete it - these are displayed directly above the filter option:

NOTE : If you want to select all of the messages in the Inbox, select the checkbox next to the Archive option (which will place a tick in the checkbox automatically).

7. When the Delete option is chosen, it will display a warning prompt asking if you are sure that you want to move the selected message(s) to the trash:

8. A similar prompt will display if you select the Archive option:

9. You also have the ability to switch between the Trash (where any deleted messages are saved and listed), Archive (where archived messages are saved) and the Inbox (in order to review any of the messages that are still sitting in the main messages screen and has not been removed or archived). The option that is selected will be highlighted an orange colour to clearly indicate which button has been selected:
