Portal - Forgotten Password

If you have forgotten your password to log into the portal, there are several things that you will need to double check and confirm first, before proceeding further with any attempt to reset the password:
  • You need to ensure that you did sign up in the first instance. If a loan application was made via the website and you have yet to log into the portal, then you will need to either join to create a username and password or log in with your mobile number.
  • You need to ensure that you know what email address was used upon initial sign up.
  • You need to ensure that you know what mobile number was used upon initial sign up.
If you try to log in and use the incorrect password, the following error message will appear:

If you try to log in more than three times with the incorrect password, you will receive the following error message:

1. If you are unsure what the password is, click on the Forgot Password? option on the portal login screen:

2. Type in your Username for the portal in the provided field and press the Send password button to continue NOTE : If you do not recall creating a username, then it is highly likely that you did not register or make a loan application:

3. A text should appear on your mobile phone with a six digit pin number, that needs to be entered into the SMS PIN field on the portal. Type in the pin and press the Continue button to proceed further:

4. A dialog box outlining that the password has been sent to your email address will appear. Selecting the Continue button will redirect you to the login page again:

5. Open your email (that was used when applying for a loan) and follow the instructions outlined in the email. The main line to take note of is the temporary password that has been provided:

NOTE : if the Sign In button has been selected from the email, it will redirect you to the sign in page for the portal and automatically populate the username field with your username and you can simply copy and paste the password from your email into the Password field.  If clicking on the button has no effect and does not redirect you, simply  copy and paste the URL into your browser (as it will action the same request):

6. Once the temporary password has been entered, it will ask for the security answer to the security question that was setup when you first signed up. After entering the answer, you can then create a new password and then select Reset Password to complete the process.

7. It will then log you into the portal using your newly created password.
