Portal - Registering As A Borrower Or An Investor

Finance company customers, being investors or borrowers, are able to access an online members portal to administer their details.

Borrowers are able to create new applications, upload required documents, print statements and perform other functions they need to. Investors are able to search for applications they would like to invest in, see progress of their investments, print statements and other functions related to investing.

In order to make use of the portal finance company users will need to register. This can be done using the registration process described below. Borrowers that have made use of the online application forms will already have supplied some of the details and as such will not be required to complete the entire registration process.

From the sign in page, a link will be available to "join" as a member, from where the customer will be navigated to the process below.



1. The First name, Middle name, and Last name are 50 character limit text fields but only First and Last name are required (Middle name is optional):



2. The Gender option only has two available selections, and will automatically default to Male:



3. The Date of birth will allow you to enter your date of birth directly into the field (in the format of the standard date, month and year). This is used along with your name, mobile phone and email address as verification of who you are:



4. The Mobile phone is a 10 character limit numeric field that must be accurate (only as it is used for verification purposes):



5. The Email address and Confirm Email Address are alphanumeric fields and is also required for identification reasons. These fields must have your email address typed in directly and cannot be copied and pasted (as it will not work if attempted):



6. The final part of the registration process is agreeing to the terms and conditions as well as the privacy policy (that you can read on screen in more detail and review at your own perusal by clicking on it):



7. Selecting the link to the view the document in its entirety, will do so in a new browser window:



8. Click on the checkbox next to I’m not a robot to confirm that you are a valid person:



9. Click on the Register button to finalise the process:



10. A dialog box will appear outlining that the registration is complete and to check your email and follow the instructions provided.  You have the option to select the Click here link to continue or review the email you received and click on the link provided there:



11. When reviewing the email, take note of the verification code which is located near the bottom of the email. To continue, click on the Verify email address button:

NOTE: In a test environment this email will not be sent to the email address provided by the customer. Emails will be intercepted and sent to the email address detailed under the "Sandbox overriding email address" as detailed in this link  which includes the steps to find out the email address setup for the test environment.



12.Simply enter your mobile phone number into the field (as it will automatically populate the email address field with your details as it was opened from your email) and press the Sign In button:



13. It will then send a six digit pin to your mobile phone. Enter the number from your mobile and click on the Verify button to continue:

NOTE: In a test environment the SMS messages are not sent to phones. Instead you will need to go to Clearmatch Fusion and search for the code by following the steps mentioned in this link



14. The mobile phone number and email address fields will automatically be populated with the details you entered when you signed up. Now simply enter the Verification code:



15. It will then direct you to a page which is the setup for a new user with details like a username, password, security question and answer:



16.The Username field is a 30 alphanumeric character limit (must not include any symbols) which has no less than eight characters long. The Password field is a 20 alphanumeric field (with the user of some symbols) which has a minimum length of nine characters and must at least contain one uppercase character, a lowercase character and a number:



17. The Security Question field has a drop down list of eight options to choose from:



18. The Security Answer field is a 182 alphanumeric character limit (and can include symbols):



19. Finally click on the Sign In button to complete the process:



20. When a customer registers and lands on the new member landing page, they have the option to identify the entity under which they will be participating with the finance company. Example if they are investing they will indicate if they are investing as an individual or as a business and the type of business i.e. a company , a trust etc.

The entities presented on the page will be dependent on the trading categories setup by the finance company in Clearmatch Fusion. 





21. Once the entity has been selected, the you will / could receive documents via email that will be required to complete. An example of the type of documents that will / could be sent are document relating to the entity such as a sophisticated investor certificate. You will be able to upload the documents from within the portal once the registration is complete.



22. You will then be asked for some additional information. The details are asked for in multiple steps to make the registration process easy for the user. In the first page you will be required to select your Title, enter the Middle Names (optional), Passport Number. You will not be able to change Date of Birth and Email address fields as they are locked. If these details need to be changed, you will need to contact your internal administrator. 

Under Contact details section the contact details including Mobile, Home and Work phone numbersDrivers License, License state and Residence details will need to be suppliedOnce you have completed adding the details click on Continue to proceed further. 



23. Once you click on Continue , you will be asked to confirm the details you have provided. Click on Confirm to continue to the next step of click on Cancel if there are changes to be done to the provided details. 



24. Once you confirm the details you have provided, you will need to supply the business details if during the registration process you selected to participate as a business entity, example a company or a trust.  Refer to this link for instructions on supplying the business details 


25. Following that the final step will be to supply your bank account details if you selected to invest. If you selected to borrow you will not be required to supply bank account details at this point.



25. Once you have provided the bank details click on Continue and then you will be navigated into the Portal.
