In order to successfully place bids on auctions, there must be a series of different applications to peruse in order to decide who to invest in.
1. On the portal navigate to the Browse Applications option under the Marketplace menu:
To find out more details on the browse applications menu item, click
here.
2. From the list of applications displayed, find one that you would like to bid on:
3. Click on the

icon, which will open the
Auction screen, but the details of the bidding function is located on the right-hand side:
4. The main details that are supplied from the bidding include the following:
- the amount that you (as the investor) has to bid on applications, specifically displaying the available amount
- the interest rate range for the loan (it will display any differences depending on the last bid that was made from you)
- the decided amount that you would like to bid
- the interest rate (in %) associated with the bid
- the confirmation button that allows you to place the actual bid
- the option to generate a quick quote based on the loan amount, interest rate and repayment frequency
- the amount that has been funded on that auction (with the amount in $ and the overall amount in % that has been funded):
5. The Place a bid heading has a $ field, that will by default have the amount of $100 entered automatically (as it is the current minimum amount) but can be changed to a higher amount if/when required. The % field directly underneath is the interest rate and will automatically default to the last rate that was used, but the details supplied in the bid interest rate range will show what the current rate is and that field can be changed accordingly.
6. When the

button is selected, this will provide a confirmation prompt to ask if you want to proceed further and make a bid of the entered amount against the entered interest rate:
7. Selecting
No will take you back to the auction page, while selecting
Yes will open a success confirmation prompt stating that you have made the bid (with the option to close the prompt by simply selecting the

button or clicking the

on the top right hand corner):
8. This will then update the dollar and percentage amount in the Current bid amount progress bar:
9. The Bidding History table located at the bottom, will also be updated to include the bid that was made. It will display specific details such as the Investor number (your Clearmatch specified number), the Amount that was bid, the interest Rate p/a, the Status of the bid and the Date (with day, abbreviated month, year and the time in a 24 hour clock format):
10. The

link will open a screen that will allow you to type in a
Loan Amount (in $), the
Interest Rate (in %) and the
Payment Frequency (either weekly or fortnightly):
11. When the

button is selected, it will display the payment period and payment amount based on the details provided (while the

button will return to the auction page):
12. Once a bid has been placed, you will be able to see that there is a heading called Adjust your bid and the
button will be replaced with the
button:
13. If for any reason, you would like to update or increase the amount that was bid, simply enter the details (under the Increase bid by an additional heading) of the amount in $ and the interest in % and select the
button.
14. A confirmation prompt will appear asking if you want to adjust your existing bid amount with the existing interest amount from the current amount to the increased amount:
15. Selecting No will take you back to the auction page, while selecting Yes will open a success confirmation prompt stating that you have adjusted your original bid (with the option to close the prompt by simply selecting the
button or clicking the
on the top right hand corner):
